How can I get sleep. I have restless leg syndrome and take requip, but it's not working. Any other ideas?
Wednesday, December 31st, 2008I also have diabetes and am taking cal-meg and iron for anemia. I have tried hot showers, calming lotions, sleeping pills, and even tried smoking pot. Everything works at first, but usually doesn't last too long. Are there any herbs or teas I might consider? I just made a appointment with a acupuncturist. I hope she can help me. As you can see, I am open to any and all suggestions. Please help me get some sleep.
Try drinking a glass of tonic water before bed. Tonic water has quinine in it, which is an effective treatment for rls.
I drink diet tonic water with a lime in it, and it works more effectively than any other treatment I have tried.
