Try getting the person to roll over on their side. Oh and those breath right strips work good too, if you can get them to stay on.

A kick in the rear usually works for me. Seriously though the Breathe Right nasal strips help.

You need to talk to your doctor!

If your snoring is that severe, you may have a condition known as sleep apnea. The snoring sound could actually be you "choking" on your tongue and/or gasping for breath. This is something that only a doctor can determine and that only a doctor can halp you with.
