How do you cure your husbands SNORING! I mean shaking the room snoring!?
I have a couple questions for you. Does your husband snore evey night? and, does he fall asleep really fast? If so, it sounds like he is suffering from sleep apnea. Here is how sleep apnea occurs. The patient predisposed to obstructive sleep apnea has a small pharyngeal airway. During sleep, the pharyngeal muscles relax, allowing the airway to close. Lack of airflow results in repeated apneic episodes. Which means the patient wakes up to as many as four hundred times a night and the patient gets absolutly no sleep and there for is constinly tierd and can fall asleep at will.
I would suggest you have him do a sleep lab at your local hospital. What they will do is fit him for a mask and then wire him up and watch him sleep. If he is suffering from apnea they will wake him and turn the air on to the mask and then moniter his sleep again. When I say air I mean just that. It is air NOT OXYGEN.

Try Breathe Right Nasal Strips. They'll clear up his nasal passages so he can breathe through his nose, therefore stopping the snoring. Wow, I sound like a radio/TV commercial!

My boyfriend used to snore then he had his tonsils chopped out and it's stopped! His tonsils were infected and that caused the airway to close up and thus, the snoring, so make you hubby go to the doctors!
(Although to be honest, I do miss the snoring now! It just used to reassure me that he was still alive and well, now I panic when I can't hear his breathing!)

lol I was going to post this question! when you have the right answer let me know, I can't remember the last night I had a decent nights kip.
Punching in the gut, doesn't work, as they tend roll over and start again, and moving in to another room is defiantly no good for the martial relasionship, after a while you'll enjoy the space and not want to move back in the other bedroom lol!

There is no cure. Sleep in another room or sleep with earplugs and those soundproof headphones airport runway guys use!

He needs to have a sleep study done. Ask your doctor. They can do them at home or at a sleep center. More than likely he will need to have a machine that helps him breath at night. It does not make any noise plus lets him get better sleep so he doesnt feel so tired when he wakes up. He is oxygen deprived and Im sure his O2 levels are way down.
Both you and he will get sleep soon.

There really isn't a permanent cure for snoring. My dad still snores to this day.We have tried nosel sprays, strips, you name it.My question is what has your husband tried to stop it or at least make it not happen so often? There is surgery that can be done but I would be worried about just how dangerous and risky a surgery like that would be.Email me if you need advice. My dad has been through it all.
