   He should try sleeping on his side or stomach.

   I've heard that Breathe Right strips can help.

   Is he a smoker? Quitting smoking helps.

   Earplugs work pretty well and aren't much trouble to use.

   Have the doc's checked for sleep apnea?

   Have you been to an ENT, (ears, nose, and throat specialist) because if you haven't then that is who you need to see. There is always a cause of the snoring and I can hardly believe that a professional said there isn't anything they can do, that's ridiculous. Besides seeing a different Dr, you might want to check out this site:http://www.putanendtosnoring.com/
