Is there a non-surgical cure for snoring?
My other half snores like pneumatic drill!!!!!
Well sometimes, other times he sort of does a little piggy snort type snore. I really need sleep!!!!
Yes there is. Have you tried hitting them in the face at night? Most people just shake them a little but a good open fisted slap across the face should take care of the problem. Try to leave a welt right next to his nose to block the air passage. Also if you ducttape his mouth closed, that should alleviate some of the noise too.

Try a product call Breath Right. It goes over the nostil which opens up the air flow during sleep. This helped me.

Well, I watched The Abyss yesterday and the lady told the man who was snoring to turn on his side and he did. It's a problem with heavy people, because you can't turn them on their side, cos that would stop it.

well losing weight and quitting smoking are two ways.

It depends on what is causing the snoring. It could be a sleep apnea problem for which a CPAP machine is effective. If he sleeps on his back and his mouth falls open, he can use a chin strap to, literally, keep his mouth shut. If he is overweight, that can be causing it too. If it is severe he should probably have a sleep study done.

Not a complete cure but I use this spray stuff from Kleeneze. It is expensive, about £9 but it works and you only have to spray it straight into the throat of the snorer before he goes to sleep. Well, Mr. Evil said he noticed a BIIIIIIIIIG difference in me when I used it!

I have noticed that the strips help very much, but not all the time. I would try a few different methods from the drugstore. You could try the strips, the sprays and I think their are pills too. I would try all options before chosing one.

I gotta' go with chicky on this one. He needs to see his doctor. Apnea is a potentially serious medical condition that can be treated without drugs. Only his doctor can diagnose him, but it's as simple as having a one-time sleep-study done and his insurance will probably cover it.
Best wishes.
